Policy for children with special needs
The daycare’s educational program promises access to services for children with special needs and offers enrichment opportunities both for children with special needs and for all children and families. Children with special needs are accepted if the following criteria are met:
• Daycare can meet the special needs of the child without compromising the quality of services provided to the other children.
• There is quality collaboration between the parents and the daycare to best meet the needs of the child.
• A doctor supports the child and informs and supports the childcare staff.
• Each case is assessed individually by the Director in consultation with the educators and parents. The final decision lies with the Director, who ensures that everyone’s needs are met.
